TOP 10: Anime Shows

(1) SLAM DUNK

My elementary and high school classmates and friends knew that I was so in loved of this show, particularly Kaede Rukawa.
I remembered when I was second year high school student, a classmate gave me a dvd copy of it. Haha!
This is also the anime that made me a basketball fanatic. ^^

(2) HUNTER x HUNTER

I've first watched this show in one of the networks here in our country, Philippines and currently I'm watching it's new episodes with same story in Animax.
Gon and Kiluwa is too cute to be missed out.

(3) NARUTO

Who doesn't love 'Naruto' series?
From first episode until now, I'm a loyal patron of this show.
And the manga is still in the works and becoming more addicting.

(4) FAIRY TAIL

It has lots of funny episodes and I love all the members of Fairy Tail.

(5) YAKITATE JAPAN

'coz I also love to eat bread <3

(6) LAW OF UEKI

Love Ueki's green hair <3

(7) DRAGON BALLS Z

This is the show that I grew up watching.
Goku is admirable and awesome!

(8) FRUITS BASKET

Cute and lovely <3
Handsome guys who turned into cute animals. ^^

RANDOM K-POP: Meet the new "B" idol group, Bangtan Boys!

First, I would like to ask this, what's good about the letter "B"?
My admired k-pop groups ' name started with "B", B.A.P., Big Bang, Block B, BTOB.
And now there is a rookie idol group named Bangtan Boys (BTS).
It is the new hip-hop idol group of BigHit Entertainment.

They have just released their official MV for debut song entitled No More Dream.
Watching their concept, you can see slight similarity to B.A.P. and Block B.
Comparing a rookie group to its seniors won't hurt, right?
I know they are unique but I can't help to compare them and I love B.A.P. and B.A.P. is a talented group who also performed hip-hop style.
These boys have great potential like their sunbaes (seniors).

Still don't know if what are the role of others.
There is no profile of them yet that have been released.
But I guessed my potential biased member of the group would be Jung Kook or J-Hope. :)

K-DRAMA ADDICTION: School 2013

School 2013 main poster

School 2013 is the only K-drama that I have watched recently from its first to last episode.
I also read the recaps of the show in Dramabeans.
School 2013 is the recent installment for KBS' 'School' series which some of the A-lister Korean actors today started out.
This drama talks about the real-life high school issues today in Korea and the relationships between the students and teachers.
It doesn't depict love like how typical korean dramas are but you will still be caught by the friendship, life struggles, learning values of each character in the show.
It mainly starred by Lee Jong-suk, Kim Woo-bin, Jang Nara and Daniel Choi.

Kim Woo-bin
While watching the series, my fondness for Kim Woo-bin as Park Heung-soo did grow.
I first knew him in the psychological drama, White Christmas and he was so awesome in that alongside Sung Joon (Shut Up! Flower Boyband, Gu Family Book)
So excited for the upcoming drama entitled Heirs starring Lee Minho and Park Shinye where Woo-bin will be part in.

Lee Jong-suk
And Lee Jong-suk portraying Go Nam-soon, the main character of the story was very great.
He had shown lots of emotions: pains, angst, heartbreaks, cuteness, happiness and loneliness.
You can currently watch him in I Hear Your Voice where you can still see his Nam-soon vibe yet different.

Daniel Choi
I also came to love Daniel Choi.
He was very cute and the character really suits him.

Though Jang Nara is the biggest star among the cast, the high school students cast really brought colors and feelings to the drama.

K-POP FANTASY: It's B.A.P., Yes, Sir!

B.A.P.

The 6-member idol boy group B.A.P. which stands for Best. Absolute. Perfect of TS Entertainment could be consider the rookie monster idol group for 2012.
They debuted last year alongside with the talented EXO of SM and BTOB from Cube Entertainment.
What made them a rookie monster for that year? They achieved 24 awards from different awards giving bodies including the 'Best Male Rookie' in 2013 Gaon Chart K-pop Awards, 'New Rising Star (Digital)' in 2013 Golden Disk Awards, 'Rookie of the Year' in 2012 Melon Music Awards, and 'Best New Artist' in 2013 Seoul Music Awards.
They released three single albums (Warrior, Power, and Stop It) plus a repackaged album (Crash) within a year and 9 songs with music videos since their debut.
B.A.P. performed their very first solo concert in Seoul, South Korea at Seoul Olympic Park Hall last February 23-24, 2013 entitled B.A.P. Live on Earth Seoul.
They also started their world tour entitled B.A.P. Live on Earth Pacific last May 7, 2013. Countries they performed [and will be performing] include USA, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and mainland China.
A fan of B.A.P. is called as Baby.
So what made me a Baby?
"Who are these blonde guys who act like gangsters?" "They would not be popular for sure because you can't even differentiate one from another" "Gosh! They all really look alike!"
I admit that words were the nasty comments I said when I first saw B.A.P.'s MV for Warrior. I thought they were just six boys for a common idol group who sing and dance.
Then they proved me that I was [sooooo] wrong.
After watching Youtube videos that featured BigBang, my biased idol group before. I accidentally clicked the MV of B.A.P.'s No Mercy.
Watching the MV made me think of who are these guys and I searched other videos that featured them.
I got surprised when I learned that they are the same blonde guys I have watched on MTV couple months ago...
...then a Baby [fan] was born within me. Ha!
I again watched the 10-episode pre-debut reality show Ta-dah! It's B.A.P. on Youtube which was already aired on MTV.
The show made me admired them more and helped me to know them individually. After watching the show, I can easily pinpoint who is who. ^^
For me, B.A.P. had the best promotions last year as rookie idol. They made multiple comebacks which show their versatility music wise.
They also have their Matoki logo which I love!
Now let's meet the 6 members of the group.

Bang YongGuk (23)
BANG YONG-GUK (March 31, 1990) -leader, rapper and songwriter.
Yongguk is my biased member in B.A.P. Why?
Yongguk is very talented, charismatic and adorable.
He was formerly known as Jepp Blackman, an underground hip-hop rapper.
All his songs as Jepp reflect how Yongguk is a very talented young artist for his age.
He had this cute smile which shows his gum that I find adorable and innocent.
A slimmed man with masculine body and a sexy deep voice.
He is also the most popular among the group not only because he was already performing in underground hip-hop but also because he got the first experienced in mainstream through featuring in Song Jieun's Going Crazy and releasing his own song with MV 'I Remember' that featured Yang Yoseob of B2ST .

Kim Himchan (23)
KIM HIMCHAN (April 19,1990)-sub-vocalist and visual
He has an ulzzang handsome face and among the Babys he was considered as the 'mother' of the group and Yongguk as the 'father'.

BangHim Couple <3
He got talent in playing korean traditional instrument and very good in speaking which he shown in hosting the SBS MTV Show last 2011.
Though Channie is not too talented in terms of singing and dancing, he is an important piece for B.A.P. and he knows how to give enjoyable fan service with his aegyo.

Jung Daehyun (19)
JUNG DAEHYUN (June 28, 1993) - main vocalist
He is the handsome Busan boy who made the climatic parts of every B.A.P. songs really awesome!
He can hit high notes and sing a song with full of emotions.
Love to see this guy in Immortal Song to show more what he got.
He loves food and he is a silent talkative. Hehe.
And Daehyun is also my second biased in the group.

Yoo Yongjae (19)
YOO YONGJAE (January 24, 1994) - lead vocalist
Same with Daehyun, I also admired Yongjae's voice but he is more into RNB style.
Yongjae is considered the smartest in the group.
For me, he also had the best English pronunciation among the members.
I also love to see him in Immortal Song because I know he can nail it

Moon Jongup (18)
MOON JONG UP (February 6, 1995) - main dancer and sub-vocalist
This silent B-boy member of B.A.P. is very innocent but got the best moves.
I hoped that he could be given more singing lines because only a little voice training would help him be more confident at it.
I really can say much about Jongup because he is the most quiet in the group during TV shows guesting. He is not reserved but the I think he is the most shy.

Zelo (16)
CHOI JUN HONG (October 15, 1996 16)- maknae, lead rapper and lead dancer.
He is the only member who had screen name which is ZELO.
He is one of the tallest idols today and also one of the most talented young idols.
He popularized the LTE rap from their songs and the maknae also can also really dance.
Zelo is very cute and he reminds of Kim Woobin in terms of face and height.
He is also my third biased in the group.
I'm 5 years older than him so I can't call him 'Oppa' same with Daehyun, Yongjae, and Jongup. :(((

Though I have favorites in the group, I love all the members.
They are perfect for B.A.P.
Together they complete what B.A.P. should be.
As a rookie group who only debuted a year ago, it's something to be proud of.
They have done lots of things in a span of one year that other groups including their same batch and/or seniors could have not done.
I just hope that these 6 charismatic guys really enjoy what they are doing despite of their hectic schedule.
I want them to have a long good rest vacation then make a comeback [full album] with a BANG!
They will be the BEST group!
They are ABSOLUTELY talented!
They will always be PERFECT for all the Babys in the world.
